Our strategy involves:

• assisting the bioscience enterprises already here in every way we can
• recruiting companies to our life science cluster, and
• supporting the creation of new life science ventures

The primary assets around which we have built our strategy are:

• Research and innovation at the University of Missouri's main research campus in the heart of our region; and
• The quality of life throughout a region that is home to seven universities and colleges, as well as to state government.

We are member communities of the Mid-Missouri Regional Planning Commission (MMRPC). Our technology-driven economic development strategy is fully integrated with MMRPC's Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). The CEDS is recognized by US Economic Development Administration and is the basis for eligibility in a number of economic assistance programs.
